The Arkansas Homefurnishings Association works tirelessly and keeps close attention to the pulse of our Legislature.
Making sure that our members are provided with the support and protection they need to stay ahead of any unfair
taxation or legislation. 
Below is a list of just a few items that have stood out over the years.

 - 2024 :  Alerted our members to file their initial Beneficial Ownership Information (B.O.I.) with the Financial Crimes Enforcement
                 Network (fincen) under the Corporate Transparency Act.
 - 2023 : When contacted by the ARHFA, both Arkansas Senator's, Senator John Bozeman & Senator Tom Cotton, along with 6 other
                Senators were able to send letters to the Consumer Protection Safety Commision, to recognize that the Sturdy Act
                supersedes the ruling of the CPSC's Tip-Over rule. Helping manufacturers and distributors of case goods stay in business,
                while they build their products to the safest standards in the industry.
